I've enjoyed attending the Pinedorado Festival here in Cambria, CA since I was a young boy and now I am blessed to be able to bring my daughter.
Afterwards the town heads down to the Pinedorado Festival for carnival snacks, old-fashioned games, and 2 children's rides with original train and cars from the 1920's.
Saturdays at the festival are definitely the most crowded, people park their cars as early as 6 a.m. and "camp out" until the parade. Then they spend the whole day walking the town, perusing the shops and enjoying Cambria's historical charm.
On Sunday the Pinedorado Festival hosts a fabulous car show, with classic cars lining both sides of Cambria Drive and filling the Vet's Hall parking lot. The delicious smell of smokey barbecue wafts throughout the crowds and bands play classic rock for this day long car show. Locals usually come out on Monday for the festival's continuing games, rides and food. This is the day to come if you don't like to wait in long lines.
Labor Day weekend in Cambria is a perfect time to spend with your loved ones celebrating the Pinedorado Festival's classic family fun!
